For several years I’ve used my drones to capture the natural scenes around me because they do such a wonderful job of showing views at altitudes that only our aviary friends see on everyday flights. However, the heart of my photography has always been based on the fact that I am a portrait photographer at heart. With the recent purchase of the DJI Mini 3 Pro the idea of using it as an extension to my still camera gear struck me as a neat and fun way to create something unique and different for my portfolio. After conducting a maiden flight earlier in the day I brought the drone along on a model shoot that had been scheduled that afternoon. This video is my first attempt at this type drone photography and it was exciting to see the results the drone produced within a few minutes of flying.
